Fire Detection Systems is a system that warns to detect fire and intervene in the beginning of the fire by providing protection of both the goods and the life as understood from the name. The history of Fire Detection Systems dates back to the 1900s. In ancient times, metal bells were used as a warning in emergencies. At the beginning of the 1900’s the first alarm button in Fire Detection Systems was started to use the first electric siren in the following years. First Fire Detection Systems started to be used in industrial facilities and buildings in 1930. Heat detectors in Fire Detection Systems were first used in 1970s. In the following years, ionized smoke detectors were designed and used in Fire Detection Systems. At the beginning of the 1980s, circuit electronics and addressable Fire Detection Systems with the introduction of microprocessors showed a great improvement.
